HP: White Lord of Slytherin

Chapter 222 Living Horcrux

Chapter 222 Living Horcrux

Umbridge was furious. You could tell from her face during class that she was probably thinking about how to say bad things to Fudge.

After finishing a day's classes, Gloria and Draco walked out of the classroom. They would be able to leave school tomorrow.

When I got to the door, I found Hermione waiting there.

"Leah!"

Draco immediately understood that it was because of Mr. Weasley's injury, and he said, "I'll wait for you in the Chamber of Secrets."

Gloria took Hermione to an empty classroom.

After making sure that there was no one around, Hermione said, "Principal Dumbledore said this morning that Mr. Weasley was injured. Harry and Ron all left school last night. I have to leave tomorrow. The headmaster asked me to tell you, but I didn't find the opportunity."

"It's okay." Gloria said, "Sirius has written to tell me that Mr. Weasley is out of danger. They even went to the hospital to visit him today."

Hermione said, "Yes, I received a letter from Dobby at noon. It was delivered by an elf, a very safe method."

After being happy, she looked worried again, "But I am a little worried about Harry's situation."

Thinking that he was possessed by a snake and even hurt Mr. Weasley was definitely not a good experience, and Harry was probably going to fall into anxiety again.

"His situation is a bit tricky, but we are trying to find a way to help him solve it." Gloria said, "But it's useless to think about it now. Let's wait until we see him."

Hermione asked, "Will you go to Godric's place then?"

"No need to go there. They're staying at that house for the summer. It's more convenient to visit them at St. Mungo's."

Before school started, Gloria allowed them to go to the house in London if necessary, and Tonks lived there permanently.

"Then I'll take the Knight Bus straight there tomorrow. Do you want to come with me?"

Gloria shook her head. "I have to go back to the manor first. I'll go there when I have time."

In fact, he had made an appointment with Headmaster Dumbledore to meet at the manor to talk about Harry.

·

No matter how angry Umbridge was, all students happily welcomed the Christmas holidays.

Gloria and Draco boarded the train to go home and arrived at their destination during their regular patrol.

The house-elves were very happy to come back after a few months, and the manor was still as majestic and magnificent as ever.

"Dear Miss Gloria, the guests are waiting in the office." The elf said thoughtfully as he put everything away.

Gloria nodded, "Well, go prepare dinner."

Entering the office, Headmaster Dumbledore sat in a chair, "Long time no see."

"Yes, the headmaster is really busy." Gloria sat down in a comfortable armchair. "Sirius has already explained Harry's situation very clearly."

Dumbledore said with relief, "Fortunately, it was discovered in time, and Mr. Weasley saved his life."

He continued, "But Harry said he was possessed by a snake. It might be the snake you saw in the graveyard. It's very strange... I thought Harry would only dream about things related to Voldemort himself."

But only a snake appeared that night, Voldemort did not appear at all.

Gloria didn't reply, but lowered her head, as if in deep thought, and then stared at Dumbledore, "There is indeed a connection."

The scene fell into a strange silence, and then Dumbledore's expression became extremely serious, as if he understood something.

"what do you mean……"

"That snake is also a Horcrux." Gloria gave an accurate answer. "Living creatures can also become Horcruxes. Harry is a living example. But snakes are different from humans. Voldemort probably never thought about it in this way, otherwise he wouldn't be so determined to kill Harry."

If Voldemort knew, he would spare Harry's life and try every means to control him, even to control this person.

After all, his power is stronger.

She said: "So Harry does have a growing connection with Voldemort and it's not surprising to see the snake's perspective."

Dumbledore sighed softly, "I had this idea vaguely, but I always thought that Harry was a special case, an accident. I didn't expect him to succeed. I didn't look into the child's eyes that night, and I was worried that Voldemort would realize something and snoop into Harry's memory again."

"I have attributed his abnormal condition to the magic left by the scar." Gloria said, "Besides, the possession he believes happened to Ginny before, so maybe he will think of it as magical control."

"That's a good explanation." He said, "But Harry can't keep doing this. If it happens too often, Voldemort will eventually notice it, and then it won't be good to reverse control him. So he has to learn the brain block technique."

This seems to be a good idea at the moment. Gloria did not express her opinion, and she certainly would not interfere with the principal's decision.

"How is the Hall of Prophecy now?"

Even though she knew Fudge's plan, she still had to ask symbolically.

"Arthur is seriously injured, and the Ministry of Magic will pay attention to it." Dumbledore said, "But after these incidents, he really can't take the prophecy ball through other people or animals, unless he comes in person, but he dare not show up."

"By the way, I think your suggestion last time makes a lot of sense, and I have already chosen an alternative professor for the Divination class."

Dumbledore read Gloria's letter and thought it made sense. "But I still have to show up when the time comes, otherwise Professor Trelawney will be kicked out."

Trelawney had lived in the school over the years, spending almost all of his salary on drinking, and had nowhere to go if he left the school.

Gloria thought that he just needed to be prepared, and then she thought of the snake, "Speaking of which, I saw the snake, but I didn't notice that she had a residual soul at the time. Her soul itself is very strange."

Dumbledore waited quietly for her next words.

"Jörmungandr smelled a strong curse on her. According to her bloodline, it has been passed down for at least two hundred years. If I'm not mistaken, it's the blood curse."

Gloria was surprised afterwards that such a curse still existed in the world. "Her soul was sleeping, but her body was still alive."

Dumbledore gripped the handle of the chair tightly. "Are you sure? Blood Curse—"

Gloria was curious about his reaction, "Yes, it's rare."

To be transformed from a human into an irrational beast is a life worse than death. In the long run, this cursed bloodline cannot be passed down for more than a few generations.

"I once knew a girl who was under a blood curse." Dumbledore's blue eyes were filled with nostalgia and sadness. "I tried everything, but I still couldn't remove the curse. The man she loved died of weakness. One day, she passed away and there was no news of her since."

The ending of the blood-cursed orcs is always sad, and death is usually the only way to get relief.

"Unfortunately."

Gloria thought that if the girl the principal mentioned could meet her at that time, perhaps the curse could be lifted. Jörmungandr loved this kind of curse that had been deposited over time.

However, it is hard to say whether the snake beside Voldemort is willing to turn back into a human. It followed the dark wizard to kill and became a Horcrux. Even if it turns back into a human, it will have to find a way to get rid of the remaining soul in its body like Harry.

Dumbledore stood up, "I must go now, thank you for your help, especially with Harry's detention."

Gloria said, "You're welcome. He's my friend after all."
