Chapter 212 Counterattack
Chapter 212 Counterattack
Professor Snape had not eaten at this time. He was still diligently brewing potions, and he smelled of herbs.
He stared at the letter in his hand and turned his dark eyes to Gloria.
"You deliberately."
Slytherin students are best at keeping themselves safe. If Gloria hadn't intentionally stepped forward, Umbridge and the Ministry of Magic behind her would not have easily put her in detention because of their fear of her.
"Some things have to be done this way." She was calm as if she was just going to Umbridge's office to have a cup of tea. "It's rare to see the professor. How is the progress of the potion development?"
A large amount of rare materials were provided, and Gloria was very concerned about the progress.
Professor Snape stood up and said solemnly, "Your detention can be later. I will take you to see the potions."
Gloria, together with the ancient portraits in her home, initially obtained the underutilized potions. As a living contemporary potion master, Snape had a comprehensive knowledge of ancient and modern medicinal materials.
The two simply discussed the current formula, and when they came out it was almost seven o'clock in the evening.
Umbridge, who was waiting in the office, was probably very angry.
Gloria arrived at her destination and as soon as she knocked on the door for the first time, the voice inside let her in.
When she opened the door, Harry was writing with his back to her.
"Finally." Umbridge slowly put down the pink teacup, "I thought you asked Professor Snape to exempt you from detention today."
Gloria closed the door and said, "How could that be?"
As she approached, she glanced sideways and saw blood oozing from the back of Harry's hand. The wound would no longer heal.
"I remember the detention started at five o'clock. Now..." She raised her fat hand, "It's already past seven. You're late."
"Professor Snape asked me to help with the herbs, so I'm late. He said you can come to him if you have any questions."
Gloria's words were very impolite.
Harry was horrified as he listened nearby; he had seen the perverted methods of this vicious woman before.
Umbridge sneered, like a jackal that had taken off its disguise, staring at Gloria who had fallen into her territory, "I hope you can still be so righteous later."
She looked at Harry, who was worried. "Mr. Potter's detention for today is over. Please make way for Miss Slytherin. Oh - Mr. Potter, don't leave in a hurry. Watching her copy the sentences may be more effective than copying them yourself. You will know what to say and what not to say."
Umbridge stood up and walked to the table, took out the parchment Harry had written on and replaced it with a new one.
Gloria pushed Harry, who was reluctant to leave his seat.
Harry had no choice but to stand up, and Umbridge took the sharp black feather pen from his hand and handed it to Gloria.
"Write. I must respect Professor Umbridge."
"No..." Harry tried to stop him.
"Mr. Potter!" Umbridge interrupted him harshly, "It is Miss Slytherin's detention time now. You need to be quiet."
Gloria raised her eyes and gave Harry a reassuring look.
She held the pen normally, the tip hovering over the parchment, and Umbridge kept her eyes glued to it, anticipating what was to come.
"Professor..." Gloria looked down at the quill and said, "Do you know how many evil curses Slytherin's ancestors have invented?"
Umbridge could tell, of course, that she knew the function of the quill. "Now is not the time to show off our family history."
Gloria smiled and tried to use dark magic on Slytherin...
Her pupils changed, slowly lengthening from human round pupils to slender snake pupils, and the black magic on the feather pen was modified silently.
The next moment he quickly wrote a line on the parchment: Umbridge is a vicious pink toad!
Harry's eyes widened, and Umbridge's scream came to his ears.
She hugged her fat right hand in horror. A line of blood words appeared on the rough back of her hand. Although she couldn't see clearly, she knew at a glance whose body the blood and ink on the parchment came from.
The bloody words disappeared quickly, and Umbridge's dark magic skills turned back on her!
"What have you done!" she yelled at Gloria.
"Writing--" Gloria replied lightly, her hands moving quickly and fiercely.
"Stop!" Umbridge was furious and pulled out her wand and pointed it at her.
"Professor, you can't cast spells on students!" Harry stood in front of Gloria.
However, the sharp pain from the back of her hand stimulated Umbridge's nerves. "Get out of the way, Potter, or I will have to let you fall down first."
Before Harry opened his mouth to say anything, he felt something move on his shoulder and saw a creature with golden scales out of the corner of his eye.
Then Umbridge's face was still twisted with anger, but she calmly withdrew her wand, walked to the desk like a puppet, sat down, and put her hands on the table.
Only then did Harry see clearly the creature on his shoulder; it was a mini snake.
Gloria said, "This is Golinia."
Harry already knew that the snake she carried with her had magical powers. "My name is Harry, Harry Potter." He introduced himself seriously.
"Hello," Golinia hissed in greeting.
Gloria reached out to take her back, put her back into the pocket of her school robes, and scribbled on the parchment with her right hand. In response, the back of Umbridge's hand continued to bleed and heal.
"Gorinya was very angry that someone tried to use black magic on me."
Harry saw Umbridge's painful expression but couldn't do anything, and suddenly felt relieved.
But soon his tone became anxious, "But...she will tell Fudge that I have implicated you."
Gloria waved her hand at Umbridge and said, "I'm not just helping you vent your anger, I'm also teaching her a lesson so that she knows she can't act recklessly in Hogwarts."
He added: "She can't tell you what happened in the office today. Don't worry, you can say whatever you want. She can't hear or see now."
Harry waved his hand in front of Umbridge's eyes, and indeed her eyes were dull.
"It seems she is very satisfied with the work." Gloria stopped writing. The quill was well preserved.
"Give this to Headmaster Dumbledore and he'll drive her away!"
Harry's emerald eyes stared at the quill; this was Umbridge's evidence of guilt.
As a professor at the school, she was not allowed to use black magic on students, but she did it.
"It's difficult. Just proving that the pen is hers is difficult enough, not to mention the scars on her hands. She could turn around and say you did it on purpose to frame her."
Gloria's words extinguished Harry's hope.
She said: "I can fight back on this matter for now, but I can't change the Ministry of Magic's targeting of Hogwarts. The really difficult one is not Umbridge, but the Minister Fudge behind her. If we get rid of her, Fudge will send the second and third Ministry of Magic officials."
Harry was depressed. He felt that Hogwarts was tainted by the Ministry of Magic and caused all these troubles.
I also know in my heart that it is amazing that Gloria has achieved this.
"Thank you for your help today. I feel very refreshed."
Gloria handed him the pen and said, "You write it. This is a rare opportunity."
She was sure that after this, Umbridge would not give her detention again.
