HP: White Lord of Slytherin

Chapter 296 Tonks' Arrival

Chapter 296 Tonks' Arrival

With the principal's permission, Gloria found a few elves.

They were specifically told to go in first the moment Crabbe and Goyle opened the door, as the elves were not affected by the Anti-Apparition Charm and could go in and monitor without being discovered.

But now those two were still in detention, and they would go to the professor’s office after dinner.

Perhaps Crabbe and Goyle's frequent failure to complete their homework completely angered the professor, and they were directly put in solitary confinement for a month.

Gloria sometimes saw their secret anxiety.

There will be an exam in the Apparition class during this period, but Gloria and Draco are not yet adults, so they don't have to go.

In the morning in the auditorium, she was looking at the Daily Prophet. Many students were checking to see if there were any disappearances or deaths.

Fortunately, there was no such report in today's newspaper, but someone was arrested and sent to Azkaban.

Gloria saw a familiar name, Mungston Fletch.

"Playing the role of an Inferi and burglarizing a house..."

I am speechless seeing this. I am afraid this person will never be able to change his criminal behavior of stealing.

But he is a member of the Order of the Phoenix, and I wonder if Dumbledore will plead for him.

"What's wrong with this guy?" Draco came over and asked.

"Nothing, I just happened to have met him before." Mungston was a member of the Order of the Phoenix, and Gloria didn't plan to tell anyone about this. "The Ministry of Magic has arrested a lot of people recently."

Draco nodded. "Father wrote to me and said that supervision is very strict now. Anyone who acts suspiciously or is reported by someone will be arrested."

It sounds like the Ministry of Magic is on high alert right now.

Gloria attended classes as usual, and it was not her turn to worry about the affairs of the Order of the Phoenix.

At noon she went directly to the little room in the secret room, where a letter had been placed on the table, signed by De Vries.

Miss Slytherin:

I have already found a way to check what you were curious about last time, but I didn't reveal anything about finding items or repairing things. I have observed carefully and they really don't know these things.

It was interesting then, that when I mentioned it, even they were curious as to why the Dark Lord was questioning two students.

Recently the Dark Lord sent more Death Eaters to the address where Malfoy Manor used to be. Even Bellatrix went there, but no trace of the manor was found. I heard that crazy woman scolding the Malfoy couple, saying that they were thieves and disregarded the Dark Lord's trust.

I believe that Malfoy Manor can be hidden well, with the help of Miss Slytherin. The Dark Lord seems a little anxious, so let your fiancé and his family be more careful, and Mr. Lucius Malfoy had better not go out on any missions.

I'll write again when I find out more.

--Van der Vries

Draco looked at the letter worriedly, "I'm going to write a letter to remind my father."

After saying this, he put down the letter and picked up his pen to write to Lucius.

Gloria picked up the letter and continued reading. Voldemort did not let anyone else know the content of the task. In fact, the Room of Requirement in Hogwarts was a very safe place.

Did you choose to look for it because you felt a sense of crisis?

"It's a pity that Crabbe and Goyle have been in detention and have no time to go to the eighth floor." Gloria said, "I'm really curious about what they are repairing."

Draco said: "I can see that they are a little anxious. They will definitely find a way to finish their homework after this detention."

Many non-club students regretted it, but no one can go back here.

At the weekend, Tonks came to Hogwarts, wanting to find Headmaster Dumbledore, but unfortunately he had left the school again.

Gloria saw Tonks's Patronus in the Chamber of Secrets. It was indeed as Ginny said, an animal with four limbs, with a clear outline and a faint resemblance to a wolf.

Because Lupin is a werewolf, all his patronuses are transformed into wolves.

Gloria saw Tonks in Hagrid's hut outside of Castle Gloria, and her hair was no longer as pink as before.

Harry was holding his teacup while Hagrid filled another one.

"Come and sit down, Leah." Hagrid greeted her with a smile.

Since he stopped taking Care of Magical Creatures, Gloria hadn't seen him anywhere except in the Great Hall.

"Thank you, Hagrid."

She sat down and picked up the teacup. The tea tasted ordinary.

"Principal Dumbledore is missing. I came to the school to ask him how to deal with the Mungston incident..." Tonks seemed helpless when she said this. "If you read the Daily Prophet, you should know about him."

"I saw it." Gloria said, "He was caught stealing. The last time I cursed my house, it just scared him away from stealing my things."

"There are no Dementors in Azkaban now, so staying there is not as scary as before." Harry hesitated and asked, "Is he important?"

In his impression, this was a thief who had been cursed by Gloria's family and severely punished.

"I don't know if it's important," Tonks said, "but Dumbledore said he got some information from a mixed crowd."

Hagrid snorted heavily. "He should remember this lesson! As a member of the Order of the Phoenix, he was imprisoned in Azkaban for stealing."

Hagrid respected Headmaster Dumbledore very much. He was probably the most angry about the emergence of such a person in the Order of the Phoenix founded by the headmaster.

Tonks smiled and said, "I am an Auror from the Ministry of Magic and have access to the school. It's a pity that Sirius can't come to the school to see you."

Gloria asked, "How is he doing lately? I wrote a letter, but he didn't reply quickly."

"It's definitely not going to happen soon. He's been away recently." Tonks said, "He's been away for quite some time. The letter you sent is probably still at his house. You can find some time to use a two-way mirror to look for him."

Before they had even taken two sips of their tea, Hagrid suddenly started crying. Harry and Tonks were both at a loss as to what to do.

"Why are you crying?" Harry asked quickly.

"I'm just sad." Hagrid put down his teacup and blew his nose with a floral handkerchief. "Aragog is getting weaker and weaker. I don't think he can hold on for much longer."

Gloria's impression of this giant eight-eyed spider still remains from the time when Harry and Ron broke into the Forbidden Forest in their second year.

Tonks didn't know how to comfort him, so Harry said, "Hagrid, spiders are very long-lived to have lived so many years."

Hagrid was still sad. "I plan to take him to the hut and take care of him soon. If he dies one day, other spiders might eat him. I don't want him to be eaten."

Gloria pursed her lips. Hagrid really loved monsters deeply.

"Hagrid!" Harry said in surprise. "There are Aurors in the school. It would be very troublesome if you were discovered to be keeping such a dangerous creature with you."

Tonks followed suit, "Yes, relocate to a place that's not too close to the school."

"That's probably only my brother's."

Hagrid's words made Gloria confused, "What brother?"

Hagrid stopped crying, "Oh, I forgot to tell you, I have a giant brother, we have the same mother but different father, and we live in a cave in the Forbidden Forest."

Tonks couldn't believe it, "What? You left a giant around Hogwarts?!"

Now the giants are considered to belong to the Death Eaters camp by default. If they are discovered, it will be a bigger trouble than raising an eight-eyed giant spider.

Hagrid said aggrievedly: "Grawp is a good boy. Because he was not tall enough, he was bullied by other giants. I couldn't stand it so I brought him back. The headmaster also agreed that I could take care of him."

Gloria had nothing more to say.
