Chapter 123: How Much Should I Curse
Chapter 123: How Much Should I Curse
Crouch House
The house is located in a remote area, its walls are full of traces of time, and it is also dull during the day.
The elf wearing a worn pillowcase used magic to move a man with sandy hair and pale freckles to the dining table.
"Little master, have a bite of food."
However, the man said nothing and did not open his mouth. The elf cried, "My little master, Shining is very worried. Just eat a bite."
Barty Crouch Jr. has been controlled by his father's Imperius Curse for many years and has been trying to break free from this control. However, this elf named Winky is stubborn and only listens to old Barty.
Shanshan pointed her finger and the bowl hanging in the air fell onto the table. "Oh——" she began to cry, grabbing the pillowcase and covering her face.
Little Barty frowned, "Shut up you dirty elf!"
Shanshan's throat seemed to be suddenly stuck, and the crying sound stopped, leaving only her tennis ball-sized eyes open with tears.
Sometimes when the emotions get intense, he can speak out.
His eyes casually scanned the table and soon saw a rolled-up newspaper. Through the folded half, he still recognized the familiar face!
"that--!"
Little Barty's eyes were glued to the Daily Prophet.
"The old master has ordered Shanshan not to agree to any instructions from the young master."
Little Barty felt like there was a fire burning in his heart, and he resisted the Imperius Curse even more vigorously, "I am your master too, remember what my mother did!"
Shanshan covered her face. It was a painful experience. The mistress sacrificed herself for the little master.
"I just want to read the newspaper, quick!"
Winky thought about how pitiful it was that her little master had been controlled for so many years, so she checked the newspaper several times before opening it in front of little Crouch. The biggest report on the front was about the case of Sirius and Pettigrew.
Little Barty stared at Pettigrew, who was cowering and avoiding the camera in the photo, with a very ferocious look in his eyes.
Voldemort believed the news from this person and went to the Potters' house without letting anyone follow him. Even though he and Bellatrix requested several times, they were rejected.
As a result, Voldemort disappeared overnight, and they interrogated the Longbottoms but found nothing.
It was reported that Pettigrew died at the hands of Sirius the next day. Everyone said that Sirius was the spy, and they knew who it was.
I thought he was dead, but he's still alive!
As he read line by line, he learned that Pettigrew had been hiding in the Weasley family for many years, but his identity was discovered and captured by Remus Lupin at Hogwarts.
The last line of the report reads: This spy who had been hiding for many years was scared crazy by the Dementor's Kiss punishment. He claimed that he would cooperate with the Ministry of Magic to really kill the mysterious man. In order to survive, he frantically said all kinds of nonsense in an attempt to change the final trial results.
Little Batty was overwhelmed with great joy. Those idiots thought it was nonsense, but he knew it was the truth. That guy must have found out some information. Their master was not dead after all.
Seeing that his eyes were not on the newspaper, Shanshan put down the things and regained control of the bowl full of food. "Shanshan let the little master read the newspaper. Can the little master eat something?"
Little Barty smiled grimly, "Of course."
He had to recuperate well, break free from the control of the Imperius Curse, and find Pettigrew to find out the whereabouts of his master. He only had one month.

No one has set foot in the old Blake house since it was last renovated, and today its door was finally opened.
Sirius walked in and saw the drastically changed old house. He was a little moved and asked, "Did you change all of this?"
"Yeah." Gloria nodded, "It was too worn out before."
Sirius left home at the age of sixteen, and his original memory of this place had long been vague, but now the previous appearance of this house gradually emerged.
With a snap, a little elf with white fur on his ears and wearing a clean pillowcase appeared. It was Kreacher who was guarding the house.
"Dear Miss Gloria, Kreacher..." Then the voice paused, and he saw the person behind her, "Traitor! Disgusting scum! Kreacher must maintain the purity of the Black family, drive away the traitor like you!"
"Kreacher, stop swearing, this is my order." Gloria stood in front of Sirius, "He is still Sirius Black, you go back and rest, Coco will be in charge of this place for the time being."
Kreacher was still gasping for breath, staring at Sirius angrily, and finally obeyed Gloria's words.
Sirius paid no attention to the whole thing, only noticing that he had a locket around his neck.
"Kreacher, obey the orders of the honorable and benevolent Miss Gloria. Disgusting traitor, get out of here as soon as possible..." He left muttering to himself.
"He's still the same as before." In Sirius' eyes, Kreacher has always been like this.
"Kreacher witnessed my father's death, which was a big blow to him. Then he stayed here with the crazy Mrs. Black, so he was easily emotional."
Gloria kept him here just hoping that Kreacher could spend his old age well in his beloved Black House.
She pointed to a curtain that had been closed early, "Mrs. Black's portrait is right behind it. We can't take it down, so we can only block it first."
"I don't want to see her either." Sirius could foresee how the portrait would curse when it saw him.
"Stay here until your house is repaired. I will let Kreacher go to Slytherin Manor temporarily."
Sirius inherited property from his uncle and a house, but the house had been uninhabited for many years and was already dilapidated. It needed time to renovate, so Gloria arranged for him to live here.
Arriving at the fifth floor and seeing the room where he had lived for sixteen years, Sirius felt a mixture of emotion and sadness.
The once prosperous Black family home is now just him and Gloria standing there talking.
The room was arranged just as it was when I left, without any changes. "It's surprising that they didn't blow up the room."
Gloria couldn't have known the original layout of the room, it could only be that it had never been moved.
"Maybe they don't hate you as much as they seem."
Gloria left the room, walked to Regulus' door, and touched the sign on it.
"This was when I was twelve years old. Leir and I had a big fight about the academy. He closed the door and I got so angry that I smashed it with something, leaving this scratch, but he never changed the sign."
"Because you were sorted into Gryffindor?" she asked.
"To be honest, when I was sorted into Gryffindor at first, only Rael had the least reaction." Sirius said, "At that time, he kept a strict watch on me as long as I was in the house. Fortunately, there is no house change in Hogwarts. It's a pity that I can't stay in school for the summer vacation. I have to come back here."
Gloria looked up at him, "Then why are you arguing?"
"I'm a Gryffindor. I don't get along with Slytherin students at school. Whenever he sees me, he'll stand up against me. The conflict built up until the summer vacation, and it broke out after a simple conversation."
Sirius raised his hand to hold the door. "When we were arguing and mentioned James, I said I hoped James was my real brother, not him..."
Gloria turned her head and glared at him instantly. She knew that her father cared about her brother, but it was so hurtful for him to say such things.
Kreacher should scold her more!
"I'm sorry." Sirius lowered his head and didn't dare to look at her.
