Chapter 138 Night of Chaos

"Leah!" There was a hurried knock on the door, and it was Sirius's voice.

Gloria stood up and rubbed her eyes, "What's wrong?"

"Get up quickly, something happened outside, you have to leave immediately!" Then there was the sound of footsteps leaving.

Sirius nodded and turned to the men, "It was just a misunderstanding."

"Misunderstanding?" A wizard pointed to the sky, where three giant snakes were entangled to form the letter S. "What's going on with those snakes? He's the only one in the magic world who could create a snake symbol!"

"Are you serious?!" Sirius shouted, "My niece is the heir of Slytherin. What's the big deal about a few snakes? Don't tell me you don't know her identity!"

The man being yelled at hesitated.

Gloria was calm. "I hate the Dark Mark, so I used a spell I created to destroy it. Does this violate wizard law?"

“It’s not illegal, but…”

"Since it's not illegal, put down your wands!" Sirius interrupted him directly.

Soon a familiar-looking person appeared, "Who sent that mark later?"

Gloria recognized him as Hayden Strong, the captain of the Magical Law Enforcement Team, whom Lucius had introduced to him.

"Miss Slytherin," said the previous wizard.

Hayden's eyes flashed with understanding, "That's fine, the others have already followed the clues to track down the suspect."

"Can we go now?" Sirius asked impatiently.

Hayden glanced at the calm Gloria, nodded and said, "Okay, those Death Eaters all fled after seeing the Dark Mark, the camp is safe now."
