Chapter 140 Mysterious
Chapter 140 Mysterious
Hearing Gloria's words, Hermione sighed, "It's raining too hard today, so it looks worse."
Fred shook his longer red hair, "Your blond brat isn't around anymore."
George laughed, "Normally he would want to cast a spell and stick to you."
"Not the blond kid," Gloria corrected. "It's my boyfriend. He's not here yet."
The Weasley twins shrugged, picked up their luggage and walked into the carriage to find their good friends.
Ron moved closer to Gloria and said, "...Leah." He heard Harry call her by this nickname and followed suit.
Seeing his awkward look, Gloria was puzzled, "Huh?"
Hermione rolled her eyes, "He wanted to ask what was going on at school this year. Just now at the station, Charlie said he'd see us soon, and Bill even said he was going to take some time off to come to Hogwarts."
"This..." She had to keep it a secret, "I'm not really sure, I just know that Hogwarts is going to host a very important event this year."
Harry was helpless, "What event can't you tell us? It's so mysterious."
Hermione stroked Crookshanks' fur. "Didn't Mrs. Weasley say that we'd know tonight?"
They quickly found an empty box and sat down. Gloria knew that Draco would definitely come to see her, so she sat near the box door.
Ron's owl was too noisy. Gloria frowned and asked, "Why did you buy such a noisy owl?"
"I didn't buy it." Ron opened the suitcase and pulled out a robe to cover the cage. "Sirius gave it to me because... you know."
Ron, in his third year, loses his disgusting pet Scabbers.
Gloria glanced at the purple robe and quickly looked away. "Well, at least it looks lively."
Ron seemed to realize that he had taken clothes that she shouldn't have seen, and his face turned red, but seeing what Gloria and Hermione said, he comforted himself that he probably didn't see it.
The door of the box was opened, and Draco stood at the door, wearing a luxurious robe embroidered with silver thread. Seeing Gloria here, a faint smile appeared on his handsome face, "Lori."
"Draco." Gloria stood up and said to Harry and the others, "I'll be leaving first."
The boy's eyes fell on the robe covering the cage. Ron's freckled face flushed red and he tried to cover it up with his legs.
"Don't tell them that's your dress." He knew he should ignore it, but it was really old.
Just when Ron was feeling extremely embarrassed and angry, Draco sneered and closed the door.
Harry took a deep breath, "At least he didn't snatch your dress away for everyone to see."
If Draco could have done this in the past, the man and they still disliked each other, but the situation was not as acute.
On the night of the Quidditch World Cup, they all thought that Draco's father would be among the rebellious Death Eaters, but the fact was that Mr. Malfoy and Mr. Weasley worked together to deal with that group of bad wizards.
The Malfoy family shares the same stance as Gloria.
"Don't think too much." Hermione rubbed the cat's belly. "We'll find out what they're hiding tonight. Bill and Charlie look so excited. I really hope we can get to school earlier."

The door of the box closed, Gloria buried herself in Draco's arms and laughed softly twice.
The boy smiled comfortably, "That looks like a dress that was popular in the 18th century."
The two quickly found a compartment and sat down. By then the train had already departed and it was raining heavily outside, forming a "rain curtain" on the glass windows of the compartment.
"The weather is so bad. It seems to be even heavier than the rain at the beginning of last year's school." Gloria said, looking out the window.
Draco easily held her in his arms and looked out the window together. They couldn't really see the scenery clearly. "It seems so."
He rubbed Gloria's cheek closely, and the faint fruity scent blended with the scent of lime.
The next moment the door of the box was opened a crack, and Crabbe whispered outside: "Gloria, Draco, can we come in?"
Without even turning her head, she said, "Come in."
During the summer vacation, Crabbe and Goyle grew taller and stood like two little giants blocking the door. Zabini and Theodore walked around them and came in first, followed by Daphne and Pansy.
Because the two bodyguards were too big, they had to sit one on each side.
"Long time no see." Zabini still had that decent smile on his face. "Actually I saw you at the Quidditch World Cup."
Gloria sat up straight, "A lot of people saw it."
The Golden Snitch circled around her several times that day and the incident was reported in the newspaper. She did not refuse this harmless report.
The box fell silent. Draco looked at them. "You interrupted my time with Lori just to stare at us?"
"Of course not," Daphne denied, "We...we saw the Dark Mark that night, too."
Thinking about it now still gives me a chill, because that is the symbol of the Dark Lord. I can't help but remember what Gloria said at the end of last school year, that Voldemort has returned.
"So what if he saw it?" Gloria said, "I said before the summer vacation that he was back, but he's just very weak now, otherwise there wouldn't be a bunch of useless people making such a scene that night."
"Gloria, you..." Pansy asked hesitantly, "Do you really want to go against that person?"
Already a fourth-grade student, she was no longer reckless and impulsive in front of Gloria like she had been in second grade, and she would think twice before speaking and doing anything.
Gloria chuckled. "Again, there are only two sides in Slytherin House: me and Voldemort."
Even though some of the people sitting here had families that had supported Voldemort, they still trembled in fear when they heard the name.
Perhaps students from other houses thought Gloria was gentle and did not discriminate against anyone, but as a Slytherin student who had seen her deal with Avery in the common room, he knew that she was as ruthless as anyone else, but she seldom showed it.
Theodore, who had been looking out the window in silence since entering, spoke up, "I stand with you, Gloria."
No one expected that he would be the first to make a clear statement. It was once thought that even if Voldemort returned, it would not affect Theodore's continued independence from all forces.
"A wise choice." Gloria glanced at Zabini and the others, "Don't worry. Although he has returned, he has not fully recovered."
In fact, she didn't care what stance these people took. Even if all the Slytherin students except Draco and her supported Voldemort, Gloria had the strength to suppress all the students in the house.
The main reason is that she doesn't want Voldemort's forces to infiltrate the school. So far, there is only one person she really wants to win over, but unfortunately he is not in Hogwarts.
These people didn't stay long, and the box was soon occupied by her and Draco again.
When the train arrived at Hogsmeade Station, the heavy rain was still going on, and the downpour was sudden and fierce.
Gloria held her wand high, shielded from the wind and rain, and saw a group of short freshmen walking towards Hagrid.
"Luckily I'm here as a second-year student so I don't have to take a boat."
In this weather today, I'm really worried whether Hagrid can get the freshmen to the auditorium safely.
"I took a boat ride in first grade, but it wasn't raining then. Let's go."
More than a hundred carriages were waiting, and no one looked at the black horses at the front of the carriages. It was obvious that the students were unaware of the existence of the Thestrals.
