HP: White Lord of Slytherin

Chapter 156: Interviewing Reporter

Chapter 156: Interviewing Reporter

The weather in November was already very cold. The turmoil of the warrior selection seemed to have passed. Harry always wrote to Sirius. Only Hermione and the professors in Gryffindor were worried about his safety. Ron stubbornly believed that he had voted on his own and did not share it with his good friends.

Even though Hermione said Ron was jealous, he felt that Ron was mostly angry.

"Is your scar really not painful anymore?" Hermione asked him worriedly.

The two walked at the back, and no one paid attention to what they were talking about. Harry shook his head, "No, I haven't had any nightmares of any kind."

Hermione was relieved. "The Triwizard Tournament's tasks are very dangerous. After the first task is carried out, they will know how dire your situation is."

Harry lowered his head and said nothing, when a commotion broke out in front.

The two squeezed to the front and ran into students from Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw.

However, Harry noticed that these students had badges pinned on their robes with bright red letters reading: The Shame of Hogwarts - Harry Potter Cheated!

"Take it off!" Ron pointed at one of them and shouted.

The man wiped the badge and said, "No, these are all true. Why should I take them off?"

"He used conspiracy and trickery to become a warrior, and we despise him." said a Ravenclaw boy.

Ron was so angry that he was about to rush forward, but was stopped by other students.

"They're just jealous. This class is Potions and we can't be late." Seamus persuaded Ron, and he and Dean dragged people around the students of the two colleges and walked towards the basement.

"Jealous? I feel ashamed!"

The Gryffindor students all glared at these people. Both houses used to have a good relationship with them, but now it has become like this.

Harry walked quickly with his head down, and someone deliberately bumped his shoulder.

When I arrived at the door of the Potions classroom, I met Slytherin students, but they were not wearing those mocking badges.

Professor Snape opened the door with a bang and walked into the classroom like a gust of wind, his dark eyes sweeping over the students below the stage.

"I told you to research the antidote. Now... it's time to test it." His cold black pupils flashed an unpleasant light. "What you have to do in this class is to brew the antidote according to the formula. Then I will use this bottle of poison to test whether the antidote is up to standard."

He pulled out a potion bottle filled with a dark green liquid, and Harry could almost imagine how unpalatable it was.

Professor Snape's dangerous gaze fell on Harry, "Of course, I will choose someone to drink the poison, and hope that his antidote will work."

Gloria knew who he wanted to choose without even looking. Poor Harry...

Although Harry felt pitiful, the other students were relieved. Even if Professor Snape's poison didn't kill them, they would definitely feel uncomfortable for a while, so it would be best not to drink it.

Hermione racked her brains, thinking about how to help Harry later.

"Take the ingredients needed for the recipe and start making the antidote." Professor Snape placed the poison on the podium.

A figure ran to the classroom door, holding the door and panting. It was Colin Creevey from Gryffindor, one of the unlucky second-year students who was petrified.

He found Harry's position at a glance and walked towards the podium.

"What is it?" Snape asked impatiently.

"Excuse me Professor Snape, I need to take Harry Potter and Gloria Slytherin upstairs."

The joy in Professor Snape's eyes disappeared, and he said coldly: "They still have classes to attend, so they can't go with you."

"Uh... Mr. Bagman asked me to take them upstairs. It seems that all the warriors have to go and need to take pictures..." Colin tried his best to say this under Professor Snape's death gaze.

The corner of Snape's mouth twitched. "Potter, leave the things here and go ahead. I will test your antidote when you come back."

Draco shook Gloria's arm with a gloating smile on his face.

"Professor!" Colin said in a shrill voice, "All warriors must bring their own things, as if it is required for the interview."

Professor Snape's face darkened completely. "Got it - take the things with you!"

Gloria knew that Colin, Harry's little fan, was helping his idol.

Draco leaned over to her ear and whispered, "I'll wait for you in the classroom."

The three of them were in the corridor. Colin was a little reserved, but he couldn't help but staring at Harry with shining eyes. "Harry, you're amazing. You've become a warrior!"

Then he remembered that Gloria was there too, so he added, "Miss Slytherin too."

"Thank you." Gloria replied calmly.

The room wasn't far away, so the time for a few words came and Colin waved at them, "Good luck Harry, and Miss Slytherin!"

Harry stood at the door, unable to raise his hands. He didn't want to go in. "I am going to embarrass myself further."

Gloria knocked calmly, "Not necessarily."

The door opened and they could see inside. The classroom was quite small. Most of the desks were piled against the walls, leaving an open space in the middle. There were three tables pushed together with long velvet on them, and five chairs next to them. Mr. Bagman was sitting there, talking to a witch in a magenta robe.

Krum stood in the corner, still looking gloomy, and Fleur also stood alone with no expression on her face, but she still looked so beautiful that the man holding the slightly smoking camera watched her out of the corner of his eye.

"They're here!" Bagman stood up happily and looked at the two people at the door. "The two warriors of Hogwarts, all four warriors are here."

When the witch in magenta robe saw them, the feather pen floating beside her immediately began to write automatically on the parchment.

"Come on in, the other judges will be here shortly and will test your wands," Bagman called them in.

"Detect wands?" Harry said uncomfortably.

"It's to check whether the wand is fully functional. After all, the wand is the most important equipment during the project." Bagman said with a smile: "The expert is upstairs. Dumbledore is talking to him. Take a few photos together. The person interviewing you is this reporter, Rita Skeeter."

The witch in magenta robes walked up to them with a false smile on her face and scanned them with sharp eyes.

Bagman said, "She's going to be writing a little story about the Triwizard Tournament for the Daily Prophet."

"This is no small story." Rita interrupted him directly, her eyes fixed on Harry, occasionally glancing at Gloria.

Rita had her hair done in elaborate, grotesque curls, wore jeweled glasses, and had lips painted bright red, the same color as her overly long red nails.

"Before the interview begins, I want to talk to Harry." Rita looked very interested in Harry. "As the youngest warrior, there must be a lot of people who want to know more about him."

Harry opened his mouth to say that it wasn't just his age that was the problem, but Bagman shouted, "Sure! I just don't know if Harry would like to."

"You can tell he's willing by looking at his expression." Rita grabbed his arm directly, and Harry realized that this reporter was incredibly strong, and he was dragged out of the room to the next door.

Bagman had a smile on his face, "I think Miss Slytherin is more worthy of an interview."

Gloria raised an eyebrow, "I don't really like this kind of interview."
