Chapter 159 Knowing the Competition Information

Chapter 159 Knowing the Competition Information

Hermione was treated with disgust by Draco, and Gloria took her away. On the way back, she told him that she was going out in the evening. They both guessed that it might be related to the first upcoming project.

At night, Gloria easily avoided Filch and Mrs. Norris and left the castle.

"Leah--" Harry called her from behind.

She stopped, and Harry lifted the invisibility cloak covering his head, as if only his head was floating in the air. "There are students from Beauxbatons near Hagrid's hut. Let's use the invisibility cloak together."

Gloria didn't refuse, "Okay."

The invisibility cloak covered his body like quicksand. From afar, he could see the lights on in Hagrid's hut, and the huge pink and blue carriage at Beauxbatons also had its lights on.

After one knock, Hagrid opened the door and Harry threw off the Invisibility Cloak.

"Hagrid, why did you ask us to come so late?"

"To show you something, of course," said Hagrid excitedly.

Gloria noticed that he looked completely different from how he had been during the day. He was dressed neatly, with a flower in his buttonhole, and his hair had been combed with great effort.

She pulled out her wand and flicked it lightly, and the broken teeth of the comb stuck in her hair fell off.

Hagrid touched his head and used his big fan-like hand to smooth down his overly dense hair. "Thank you, Leah."

"Hagrid, what are you going to show us?" Harry asked in a low voice cautiously in the house.

"Follow me later and put on your invisibility cloak." Hagrid pointed at his invisibility cloak and said, "As for Fang, I won't take him with me."

He straightened his clothes at last, paying great attention to his appearance. Gloria even suspected that he was going on a date or taking them to see information related to the game.

The invisibility cloak was covered on them again, and Hagrid went out to the carriage at Beauxbatons. After knocking on the door, Ms. Maxime came out, and she seemed to be dressed up carefully.

Gloria and Harry looked at each other and had a strange feeling, are these two dating?

Seeing them standing together, I realized that Madam Maxime was taller than Hagrid, who looked very much in love, chatting tenderly with the headmaster as they walked around the edge of the paddock.

Given their size, their strides were two or three times that of a normal person, so they had to jog to keep up.

I don't know what the two people in front were talking about. Ms. Maxime shyly touched Hagrid's face. When their eyes met, Harry couldn't help but open his mouth to vomit. Gloria poked him with her elbow and said in a low voice, "Hold it—"

Harry's face wrinkled up and he mouthed the reply: Disgusting.

Fortunately, we finally stopped going in circles and started walking into the forbidden forest.

As the castle and the lake disappeared they all heard some noises, someone shouting, and then deafening roars one after another.

Hagrid and Madam Maxime rounded the trees and stopped.

Gloria and Harry stood over and saw four adult ferocious fire dragons spewing scorching flames at the crowd surrounding them.

"Don't come close!" A wizard shouted to Hagrid and the others, "The flames these dragons spray can sometimes be longer than usual."

There were about thirty wizards in the venue, and seven or eight of them were fighting against one fire dragon. The fire dragon was too violent, so the wizards had no choice but to cast a stun spell together.

Hagrid whispered, "They're so pretty—"

Harry was already standing there in a daze. He had been mentally prepared based on Gloria's words, but when he saw four ferocious fire dragons with his own eyes, he felt that he might die in the competition.

There were several fire dragons of different appearances, each dozens of feet tall. They were absolutely huge monsters, even more terrifying than the snake monster seen in the secret room.

The fire dragon hit by the stun spell began to shake, and then fell to the ground with a bang, and the ground and trees shook.

The wizard who had just shouted at people to stay away came over. It was one of Ron's brothers, Charlie Weasley, whom he had met at the Quidditch World Cup.

"You're here, Hagrid. I fed them sleeping potions before transporting them here, thinking they would be better if they woke up at night. But now it seems..." Charlie panted and frowned when he saw Ms. Maxime strolling around. "I didn't know you would bring her here. She is the headmaster of Beauxbatons and will tell her students about the project. Warriors shouldn't know this before the game."

"We have similar interests and hobbies." Hagrid shrugged, "So I wanted to bring her here to see some of them. About three years ago, I had the chance to raise a dragon... Too bad, that guy Malfoy!"

Gloria glanced at Harry. She had learned about the first-year dragon from Draco.

Charlie sighed and shook his head, "Don't worry, Nobetha has been doing well."

Ever since I knew Norbert was a female dragon, I changed her name to this.

"Then..." Hagrid looked at the four dragons that had been knocked unconscious. "Four dragons are just right for each warrior to deal with one. Do we want to fight the dragons?"

"Maybe." Charlie was not sure. "Maybe we have to avoid the pursuit of fire dragons, or pass by them. These are fire dragons that are about to hatch eggs. Their tempers are more than ten times hotter than usual. If the situation gets bad, we will rescue them in time. But if anyone draws the Hungarian Horntail, it will be exciting."

Looking in the direction Charlie pointed, I saw a fire dragon called a Hornet, with a tail covered with bronze spikes, like a giant hammer.

Charlie then mentioned Harry, saying that his mother believed what was in the newspaper and even imitated Mrs. Weasley's voice. She felt sorry for Harry crying secretly at night because he missed his parents.

Harry was so ashamed and angry that he couldn't bear to look at the dragon anymore, so he dragged Gloria towards the castle.

She quickly grabbed the person and said, "Wait!"

Harry stopped immediately upon hearing that, and saw a figure not far ahead, moving towards the direction of the fire dragon.

Relying on the invisibility cloaks on their bodies, the two of them approached together and found that it was Karkaroff. They looked around suspiciously and moved forward after making sure that there was no one around.

After the figures walked away, Gloria said, "Well, now the warriors from the three schools know what they will face in the first competition."

Harry hung his head. "Can you deal with a dragon with just a wand? Those wizards who were professionally taking care of dragons just now needed seven or eight to deal with one dragon."

He and Gloria were only in the fourth grade, while the other two were at least adults.

"Harry, you should discuss with Sirius and Professor Moody how to pass the competition."

Sirius certainly knew the spell to deal with dragons, but it was too late for Harry to start learning it now.

Harry looked at her blankly, "What are you going to do, ask Professor Snape for a bottle of poison?"

Gloria didn't shy away from the question, "I can deal with a fire dragon, but even if I teach you the spell, you won't be able to learn it in a week."

Harry: "..."

Gloria said: "Regarding the false reports about you and Hermione, I have written to the Daily Prophet and asked the reporter not to report such false content again."

"Thank you very much." Harry didn't think the difficult reporter would give up. "No matter what the result is, thank you for writing about my case."

Gloria emerged from the invisibility cloak and said, "I'm going back first. Draco is still waiting for me."

Harry watched her run away, and began to wonder how to deal with the dragon. Use the Expelliarmus charm? That was the spell he was best at.
