Chapter 194 Another Year Ends

Chapter 194 Another Year Ends

The dispute in the academy seemed to disappear quickly, but now it has been divided into two factions. The only difference is whether they belong to Gloria's side. They spent the last few days before the holiday in peace.

In previous years, the end-of-school party would be decorated in the colors of the house that won the House Cup, but this year, the flags of all four houses were displayed.

Gloria saw the real Professor Moody. He was even more nervous and uneasy than the disguised one of little Barty. He was a suspicious person to begin with, and after being locked up for about ten months, it was considered good for him to be able to sit here quietly.

The two officials from the Ministry of Magic were not there. Perhaps Fudge had a falling out with the headmaster, so it was unlikely for them to show up.

Ms. Maxime sat in her old seat, with Hagrid next to her. The two were still chatting, while Karkaroff's seat was empty, as he had escaped to somewhere long ago.

Everyone ate in silence, and they vaguely understood that something bad had happened on the night of the final.

Sitting next to Gloria were students who insisted on staying in the club. They had all been screened, and those with ulterior motives were kicked out, leaving only these.

Headmaster Dumbledore stood up and everyone stopped what they were doing.

"Another year has come to an end." He said in a deep voice, "I believe everyone is curious about what happened to Gloria and Harry in the past two days. The fact is that they went through dangers you can't imagine and almost lost their lives, but fortunately... they returned safely."

The students below were talking a lot, mainly about two points: danger and safe return.

The school said it would ensure the safety of the warriors. Fleur from Beauxbatons and Krum from Durmstrang both came out of the maze safely, and Fleur didn't even send out a distress signal.

As for returning safely, it is even more incomprehensible.

"In the past year, Harry became the champion of Hogwarts. It was a conspiracy, so that he could touch the championship cup that had been made into a portkey in the last competition and bring him to that person - Voldemort!"

Hearing this name, many people turned pale with fear.

"Harry encountered the championship cup, and so did Gloria. In a strange place, two young students met a man who had been missing for many years - that was Voldemort, and he was back."

Everyone stared at Dumbledore in horror and disbelief.

"We originally had strong evidence, but... the Ministry of Magic doesn't want me to say this, but I think the situation is critical now. You must know the truth and be prepared for it."

Not only Hogwarts, but also students from Beauxbatons and Durmstrang were very nervous and scared. Even if they were not British wizards, many European countries had been invaded by Voldemort in the past, but his base was in the British wizarding world.

"Gloria was the first to resist, and she was very good, even at such a young age."

Everyone's eyes fell on her, finding it hard to imagine how she and Harry could return safely from Voldemort.

"Harry also fought hard, and together they escaped from Voldemort's clutches and returned to school. In fact, many adult wizards would be afraid when they heard the name of Voldemort, but the fearlessness shown by these two students is admirable. Therefore, I want to pay tribute to them."

Dumbledore raised his goblet to each of them, and only one-third of the Slytherin house raised their glasses to Gloria.

After that, the principal said a lot of things, hoping that people from all over the world could unite as one.

The evening was very serious and everyone was in a heavy mood when it ended.

Gloria did not return to the lounge, but went to the principal's office.

The two looked at each other in silence for several minutes before Gloria spoke up: "Principal, can Harry go live with Sirius? Voldemort used his blood, and the magic left by Harry's mother has no effect."

Dumbledore shook his head, "No, Harry must stay at the Dursleys' for at least a month."

Seeing her confusion, the headmaster explained, "Harry is not only protected by his mother's magic, but also by the magic I cast. Even though the magic left by Lily is not as effective as before, with my protection, Voldemort and the Death Eaters still cannot find his address."

"These two kinds of magic complement each other and will remain effective until Harry reaches adulthood."

Gloria then nodded, "I see. Then... we still have the Ministry of Magic to deal with."

They saw Fudge's attitude, and everything was just beginning.

"The Ministry of Magic..." Dumbledore said, "No matter what, we must stabilize our position first. When Voldemort returns, the members of the Order of the Phoenix must reunite, and even new members must be added. The headquarters will be located in Godric's Hollow, Sirius' current home, and where Harry's parents once lived."

Gloria said, "If there is any help needed, I will do my best to help."

Dumbledore chuckled. "Then I'll make the Daily Prophet's comments about me less harsh."

Gloria laughed and said, "I'll try my best."

This summer is hotter than in previous years, but the bright flowers are still blooming vigorously under the sunlight, as if they want to embrace this summer to their heart's content.

Everyone was waiting in the hall, waiting for the carriage to take them to the station.

Gloria and Draco were holding hands, while in front of them, Harry and the others were talking to the other two warriors.

But she didn't expect that after she finished speaking, the two men came towards her.

Fleur was the first to extend her hand. "No matter what you went through that night, your excellence is obvious to all. I apologize for what I said on the night of the Christmas ball. Hogwarts is a beautiful place, not just in appearance."

Gloria held her hand and said, "I agree with you. I hope you have a safe journey."

Furong smiled charmingly, and said only to Gloria, "Goodbye—"

Krum held out his hand after she left, "I'm sorry about that night. I didn't find out what happened until later."

"It doesn't matter." Gloria said indifferently: "Did Hermione promise you?"

"I agree." Krum smiled shyly, "Come to my house in a week."

Gloria said, "Great, I hope you have a great holiday."

The warriors who came together for the Triwizard Tournament finally said goodbye to each other amicably, but they didn't know when they would meet again.

The station was very busy and the weather was fine with no clouds in the sky. Gloria and Draco quickly found a private room.

Once she sat down she took out her parchment and began to write.

"What?" Draco looked around curiously.

"A letter to Skeeter." Gloria said with an ambiguous smile on her face.

"at this time?"

"Of course it will be at this time." She kept writing. "She will write about what happened to Harry and I on the night of the third match in a way that is as non-sarcastic as possible, and of course she will write it in a tone of disbelief."

Draco frowned, "Wouldn't that just make the situation worse?"

"That's not necessarily true." She said, "There is always a shortage of rational people in this world. I will release the news of Voldemort's return, even if most people don't believe it. If the Daily Prophet doesn't work, I will switch to newspapers in other countries. After all, I have more control over newspapers."

Draco said: "Why not let newspapers from multiple countries report it together?"

Gloria paused and stared at him with surprise. "Good idea. I'll put it into practice."
