Chapter 203: Long-awaited Meeting
Chapter 203: Long-awaited Meeting
Early in the morning
Shortly after Gloria got up, she received a letter from the Ministry of Magic.
After reading the content of the letter, I couldn't help but curse inwardly: When will Fudge step down?
He actually changed the time and place of Harry's trial, hoping to make him late. This is such a shameless trick...
Gloria went straight to the two-way mirror to contact Harry, but there was no movement on the other end. He might have gotten up for lunch.
She contacted Sirius again, and this time she saw him quickly.
"What's wrong, Leah? Contacting so early?" Sirius was indeed sitting at the dining table, and the Weasley twins beside him poked their heads over to look over.
"Fudge changed the time and place of Harry's trial,"
"What?!" Sirius almost jumped up, "Is it too late at this time?"
Gloria checked the time. "It's still in time. Eight o'clock in the morning. Courtroom 10. The courtroom where you cleared your name."
Arthur patted his chest and said, "There is still time. Eat quickly, Harry. We have to leave in three minutes."
He had planned this for a long time, and wanted to take the subway in the Muggle world by sending Harry to the Ministry of Magic.
Sirius was in no mood to eat. "If I could get to the Ministry of Magic, I would definitely punch Fudge in that fat face!"
Mrs. Weasley hurried over to Harry and poured him a drink. "Don't choke. Do you have your wand with you?"
Harry was still chewing, but he nodded in response to Mrs. Weasley.
Fred muttered along. "Sly Minister."
George agreed heartily, "Bully the kid."
Mrs. Weasley did not speak to stop the twins this time. She hurriedly prepared food for Arthur so that they could leave immediately after eating.
"I hope everything goes well for you. Now that the problem has been resolved, I'll go get busy first." Gloria ended the conversation and prepared to find Draco.

It is rare for Britain to have abundant sunshine in August, and the classic Malfoy Manor sparkles in the sun.
As a secret keeper, Gloria had a clear view of the whole situation.
She did not use the fireplace this time, but came to the manor from outside and checked if there were any suspicious people around.
The dewy flowers were cut by Narcissa herself with a pair of scissors, and a house-elf stood beside them holding a plate with a vase on it.
"Narcissa." Gloria called softly, afraid to scare her.
"Oh - Lori!" Narcissa put down the scissors and flowers and walked over quickly.
A warm scent surrounded Gloria, and Narcissa hugged her tenderly, "I'm so sorry I wasn't able to pick you up in person when you and Draco were on holiday. Draco missed you so much that he stayed by the fireplace."
"I forgot to tell him that the fireplace wouldn't be used today." Gloria took her arm.
"Let's go in quickly. Before I came to the garden, he asked me how I was dressed, just like before." Narcissa turned her face slightly, "You look so beautiful today."
"Thanks--"
Hearing his mother and Gloria talking, Draco thought he had misheard and turned around to see his girlfriend whom he hadn't seen in many days.
"Lori!"
Gloria felt herself quickly enveloped by the scent of lime. The boy's hot chest was transmitted to her body through his robe, making her also feel a few traces of his body temperature.
"Draco, did you have a good holiday?"
"No." Draco didn't care that his mother was there, and buried his head in her shoulder. "I missed you so much."
Narcissa smiled at how close they were, and thought of herself and Lucius.
"I'm still short of some flowers for my vase," she said. "Please review them for me during lunch."
I just found an excuse and gave the two young people some space to spend time together.
Gloria stroked Draco's soft blond hair, "Okay, I want wild sea bass with chopped clams for lunch."
"My dear, we have all the food you like." Narcissa went to find the elf with a smile on her face.
Draco's room has a large balcony, and on the table is a vase placed by Narcissa herself, which is very inconsistent with the cold-toned room layout, but it is full of loving details.
Gloria's lips were red and swollen as she flipped through the documents on the table. The Malfoy family had invested in many industries, and Draco spent most of his vacation time familiarizing himself with them.
The boy was sitting opposite her, with a small wound on his bitten lower lip.
Gloria asked without even looking up, "Apart from studying these, is there anything else you can do during the holidays?"
"I also learned spells." Draco said: "My mother taught me the brain block technique. The situation in the British wizarding world is not good. In order to prevent accidents, I must learn it."
Gloria was very satisfied. It was not easy to master the art of occlumency. "My Draco is really good. By the way, I have been confirmed as the head girl of the fifth-year Slytherin House."
She placed the prefect badge that Dumbledore had sent her earlier on the table.
"Then I must be the boys' class leader. You'll know when the book list is sent." Draco played with the badge. Being a class leader means he has the qualifications to deduct credits.
Gloria put aside the document she had read and said, "Besides coming to see you today, I have another thing to do."
The boy held the badge with a questioning look.
"Remember that curse I told you about last night?"
Draco nodded, "Of course, Dumbledore and his gang should be embarrassed."
The tenant was staying there peacefully, but the members stole the landlord's belongings.
"He looks quite angry." Gloria quickly got down to business. "By the way, the curse on that house was an experiment. It seems to be working well now. I plan to cast it on the entire Malfoy Manor as a double layer of protection. Even if someone mistakenly trusts someone and exposes their location in the future, this place will not be affected."
"What about Slytherin Manor?" The first thing he thought of was the safety of Gloria's residence.
"Don't worry about that. Successive Slytherin heirs have cast many protective spells."
Gloria stood up and held out her hand to him, "Let's go."
The two men came to the outside of the manor, and Jörmungandr landed on the grass, his body suddenly growing in size.
The girl silently chanted a spell, and the giant white-scaled snake opened its mouth and spit out mist-like black smoke. The spell pulled the black mist and dispersed it to all parts of the manor.
The whole process lasted for several minutes. When the spell was over, Gloria let go and breathed a sigh of relief.
"Alright, from now on, those with murderous intent will be kept out, and will have severe reactions if they come into contact with the protective spell. Others will be contained and punished to varying degrees depending on the degree of their malicious intent."
The black fog disappeared into nothingness as the spell was successfully performed. Jörmungandr turned back into the form of a little snake and was taken back into the pocket to rest.
Draco put his arm around Gloria's shoulders, "Thank you—"
"There's no need to talk about this between us." Gloria leaned on his chest. "By the way, when the fifth year starts, the Ministry of Magic will interfere with Hogwarts, and they will definitely target Harry and me. Slytherin House is currently in a state of division, so the next year may be very busy."
The boy hugged her tightly, "No matter who it is, we can handle it. I wonder if Potter will be expelled next."
"Probably not. It is a fact that he was attacked." Gloria said, "Fudge realized this and changed the time and place of the trial. He tried to find some minor mistakes to attack, but the wizards of the Wizengamot are not stupid."
Draco snorted lightly, "With Potter here, he will be the one who attracts the most attention, and you will be less affected."
