Chapter 254 Slytherin Traits
Chapter 254 Slytherin Traits
Dumbledore's words quieted the panicked crowd.
"Don't try to hide it, Fudge," Gloria said. "Voldemort is back. You saw it with your own eyes. As Minister, you are to blame."
Fudge's face was completely drained of color. "Everyone from the Enforcement Department is going to the Department of Mysteries... You'd better explain how you broke into the Ministry of Magic..."
He could not think of any other excuse to attack.
Dumbledore made a portkey on the spot and said, "Gloria, I will take you back to school first."
"I want to go see Sirius first."
"Then I'll take Harry back first." Dumbledore didn't persuade him any further, and said to Fudge, "I'll come to the Ministry of Magic in an hour to tell you about what happened tonight."
Gloria handed Fawkes, who had turned back into a baby bird, to Dumbledore. The two of them disappeared and she turned to the elevator.
All the Death Eaters were subdued, and because of the anti-Apparition spells, the Order of the Phoenix members stayed here to guard, knowing that Headmaster Dumbledore would bring help.
"Lori." Draco, who was standing next to Lucius, saw her and immediately went up to hug her.
"Are you hurt?" The boy's face was still pale.
Gloria said, "It's okay, it's all over."
He looked up and saw Sirius, and when he saw the Ministry official coming, he moved his wand away and walked over here.
"You are too impulsive. How could you chase after that crazy woman?"
"She is not as strong as me." Gloria said: "Principal Dumbledore took Harry back, but Bellatrix took the opportunity to escape while our attention was on the battle between the headmaster and Voldemort."
Draco squeezed her hand, "He's really here?"
"He ran away when the Ministry of Magic people came." Gloria asked: "Is Tonks okay?"
Sirius was shocked by the news for a moment before he recovered. "She was tortured and needed to go to St. Mungo's for treatment. After subduing all the Death Eaters, Lupin sent her away."
Lupin has a special identity, so in order to avoid causing trouble, he will be the one to deliver the goods.
"I have tortured Bellatrix." Gloria glanced at the Death Eaters who were taken away. "Where is that De Vries? The one with the bloody white gloves."
Sirius recalled, "That man...soon after you and Harry left, he knocked down Moody and left. He was very powerful."
"You guys took too much risk today." Lucius came over after he had just finished negotiating with his colleagues at the Ministry of Magic. "Fortunately we arrived in time."
Sirius put his arm around Gloria proudly, "Leah, next time you have an adventure like this, be sure to call me along."
Draco frowned and glared at this unreliable elder.

When they arrived at the headmaster's office, Harry was just drinking the potion with his head tilted back.
Gloria sat down in the chair next to Harry, and it seemed that she had already explained what happened tonight.
Dumbledore said, "I noticed something was wrong with you in the Great Hall."
He was speaking to Harry.
"Then..." Harry hesitated before asking, "Why didn't you ask us?"
"I was in the Great Hall, you could see me but you didn't tell me." Dumbledore sighed secretly, "There is no rule that you must tell me everything."
Gloria glanced around and saw one of the portraits winking at her. It was Phineas.
She looked away silently.
"I really didn't dare to say it at the time." Harry said like a child who had done something wrong. "Tonks was confirmed to have been arrested, and I dared not tell you."
Speaking of Tonks, Harry hurriedly asked Gloria beside him, "How is Tonks?"
"He has been sent to St. Mungo's for treatment," she said.
Tonks was rescued, Voldemort failed to get the prophecy, and the operation tonight was a great success.
Only then did Dumbledore ask her, "Did you find the people from the newspaper?"
"I did notify them, but I thought that what happened tonight would inevitably be reported."
She herself had not expected that the person she sent would happen to take a picture of the famous Voldemort, and she did not know how scared the people in the newspaper would be when they saw the picture.
Dumbledore frowned and continued, "You deliberately told Harry about the prophecy to anger him."
Gloria looked up, "I thought he would seize his chance tonight, but he didn't come. I didn't expect it."
"The chance to kill Harry?" Dumbledore stared at her.
Gloria didn't avert her eyes, "Yes, but I won't let him kill Harry."
Harry unconsciously slowed his breathing, and felt that the headmaster was particularly serious.
"You thought he would come, so you didn't use your full strength to fight the Death Eaters," he said.
Gloria nodded silently.
"From Harry's behavior, he didn't know this," Dumbledore said. "You put the students who followed you in danger."
"So I gathered them around me and never separated them."
Gloria knew clearly that the Killing Curse was not easy to cast. In addition to having enough hatred, it also consumed a lot of magic power. Even dark wizards would not cast this spell easily.
"Principal Dumbledore!" Harry argued eagerly, "Even if it wasn't Tonks, but someone else, I would still go to the Department of Mysteries to get that thing! No matter what Leah planned, the Death Eaters would be there."
Dumbledore looked at the girl in front of him, and at this moment he finally saw the side of her that was unique to Slytherin.
"I can't let Voldemort hide in the dark and quietly accumulate strength and power." She said: "You have failed to persuade the giants and werewolves."
Dumbledore didn't answer, but the result was clear.
"Instead of waiting for them to complete the integration of forces and return prepared, it is better to let the public know this fact and make preparations early."
What Gloria wanted to do most was to arrange the Ministry of Magic before Voldemort officially took action.
She said: "I have reached a cooperation with the Weasley twins. We will jointly develop defensive alarm products. If there is any abnormal movement, we can escape in time and minimize the casualties of wizards."
"Headmaster, I believe in Leah's character," Harry said. "She is more like the savior everyone talks about than I am."
Having witnessed Gloria's two battles with Voldemort, Harry was able to improve at an astonishing rate, and he fully believed that she would be able to defeat Voldemort one day.
Hearing such praise, Gloria lowered her head and said, "That's not necessary."
She didn't want such a title. Harry would definitely face him in the final battle. The most she could do was to help destroy all the Horcruxes.
The tension that Dumbledore had brought up dissipated, "I should go to the Ministry and talk to Fudge about tonight."
He said, "The rest of the students have been sent to the medical wing. Sirius is waiting outside the office. Remember to rest early."
The phoenix flew to Dumbledore and took him out of the office.
Gloria stood up and stood in front of Harry, saying sincerely: "I'm sorry I didn't tell you about those potential dangers."
"If it was before, I might be scared, even a little angry..." Harry said, "but after seeing the snake blocking the killing curse for Sirius, and knowing that you were sure of it, I forgive you."
"To be honest, before the final moment comes, I don't want Voldemort to know about my family's snake..."
"Wait!" Harry interrupted her, "You're telling me this now, my brain..."
