HP: White Lord of Slytherin

Chapter 266 Grindelwald

Chapter 266 Grindelwald

Gloria watched from out of memory, "Seven pieces, he is really amazing."

Dumbledore's face was heavy. "Tom has completely wasted his talent and is on a path of no return."

"The diary, the locket, the tiara, the ring, the snake, the piece of ..." she said, "and the Hufflepuff cup that Bellatrix hid."

Dumbledore was puzzled, "How do you know for sure it's the Hufflepuff Cup?"

Gloria said: "When she was tortured in the main hall of the Ministry of Magic, she took the opportunity to search her memory. Voldemort gave her the golden cup personally and said it was very important. Bellatrix hid it in the vault of Gringotts."

The goblins at Gringotts didn't care about the current situation at all, they were only concerned with preserving their guests' assets.

"The vault." Dumbledore groaned. "That place is indeed difficult to enter. The goblins don't care who rules the wizarding world. They only think about business and gold coins. They are very diligent in guarding the guests' vaults. Their magic is not easy to deal with."

Precisely because it was difficult to deal with, the Philosopher's Stone was temporarily stored there in 1991.

“Even if they knew, they couldn’t try to take it.” Gloria said, “Once the goblins noticed something unusual and notified Bellatrix, Voldemort would know that someone was tracking down the Horcrux.”

Lucius directly brought the Malfoy family to her. Voldemort still didn't know the exact whereabouts of the diary. He just wanted to catch the person and get the diary back. Unfortunately, he couldn't find Malfoy Manor and couldn't get close to it.

Dumbledore remained optimistic. "At least we know all the Horcruxes. Voldemort's soul can only be split into these few at most. I don't think he can make new Horcruxes."

"As for the gold cup, we need to find the right time. I pulled Bellatrix's hair on purpose. If I had to do something else, I could have learned from Harry and his classmates in the second grade." Gloria said, "But the possibility of being discovered is not small."

She continued, "We can force our way in when we decide to have a formal battle, but the snake next to him will most likely be hidden."

Dumbledore paced back and forth as she spoke. "Let's put the matter of the golden cup aside for now. The situation is much better than I expected... Gloria, you really are like a light shining in the darkness."

He thought of Trelawney's prophecy before Harry.

Gloria thought he was complimenting her on finding a lot of Horcruxes in a roundabout way, "Thank you for the compliment. Are you going to tell Harry about the Horcruxes after school starts?"

"He is almost an adult. The situation is so tense and I don't have much time left. I must tell him." Dumbledore sighed, "As for the remaining soul in his body, I have to wait until the last moment and have someone tell him."

Gloria said directly: "I'll tell him."

Dumbledore was stunned. "Harry really thought he would die. This is too cruel for a child."

"If he is determined to die, Voldemort won't notice anything unusual." Gloria's attitude was much calmer. "But he won't really die. I have to follow him and take back his 'body'."

"I'm relieved that you think this way." Dumbledore's spirits instantly brightened. "We'll think of a way to deal with the golden cup and the snake later. Fortunately, we are not completely ignorant now."

Dumbledore felt that he could die with more peace of mind.

After her adventure with Dumbledore, Gloria set out on her long journey.

The house-elves went out early to plan the route, and they escorted them one by one until they arrived in Austria quietly.

The temperature in Austria in July was pleasant, but Gloria came to the mountains, where it was a little colder.

Through the morning mist in the mountains, she saw the isolated tall tower.

When I got close enough, I found that the place was full of magic and the tower was not guarded.

Gloria sighed, "How scary it is to have that mouth, he's the only one there."

It was heard that Grindelwald had a strong ability to incite rebellion, so he was silenced and imprisoned for a time.

If he were imprisoned in Azkaban, he might be able to incite the Dementors to turn against the Ministry of Magic, just like Voldemort did.

The magic everywhere is difficult to force through and can be easily discovered.

Jörmungandr stuck his robe out and instantly regained his huge size, causing rustling sounds all around. The magical animals fled frantically, fearing that they would be swallowed by this terrible giant snake.

He lowered his head and Gloria sat on it.

Soon a giant snake made its way through the layers of magic and climbed up the tower until it reached the top floor and saw a small window.

Gloria gestured and realized that she couldn't get through, so she simply moved to the other side.

The snake's tail twitched lightly, and broken stones and bricks fell, with a clattering sound that could be heard from far away.

Gloria successfully entered the tower. The only sound inside the tower was her breathing. Jörmungandr shrank his body and crawled back into his pocket along her arm.

It was very gloomy inside the tower, and the corridors were covered with thick dust. There was no sound when you stepped on it, only the whistling wind and endless loneliness.

Not far away, I felt the magical fluctuations inside a wall.

She tapped the wall with her wand and the bricks moved away automatically, allowing her to see the room clearly.

A thin old man with silver hair sat on the ground, looking up at the light coming in through the small window.

Even after being imprisoned for more than fifty years, his demeanor is still impossible to ignore.

A hoarse voice sounded, "In the future I see, there is no scene of you looking for me." After a pause, he continued, "Maybe it's because I'm old."

Gloria looked around. Apart from the damp and cold walls, there was only a bed and a thin blanket in the room.

If it weren't for the temporary 'door', the only way he could access the outside world was through that small window.

"It is hard to imagine that Grindelwald, who once swept across Europe, would be willing to stay in such a simple place for more than 50 years."

She didn't believe that the witches didn't come to rescue Grindelwald when he first came in, nor did she think that he couldn't cast a spell without a wand to save himself.

The old man closed his eyes and said, "This place allows me to calm down and recall everything I did in the past."

"Since you can predict..." Gloria said softly, "Did you predict that Dumbledore was about to die?"

With her sharp eyes, she noticed that the old man's body stiffened for a moment and his tone was very complicated.

"I saw him falling from a high tower a few days ago, his eyes were so calm." Then he said with relief: "But it doesn't matter, I won't live long after that."

Gloria frowned slightly. Would she not save Headmaster Dumbledore in the future?

Judging from his description, it seemed like the principal volunteered to die.

However, foreknowledge is just one of the possibilities, and nothing has happened yet.

"Then you should know who I am."

Grindelwald snorted, "I know, Gloria Enzo Slytherin."

Gloria was quite surprised that he knew her full name.

Even though his back was turned to the people, Grindelwald seemed to know her doubts. "I saw the scene where you and... Albus revealed your identities."

"I see." Gloria said, "My grandfather once stopped traveling to Europe because of your activities. Maybe your party even tried to win him over. My grandfather's evaluation of you is that you are a natural politician."
