HP: White Lord of Slytherin

Chapter 285 Quietly Leaving

Chapter 285 Quietly Leaving

Just when there was no hope, Gloria said, "Really? That sounds interesting."

Walpole's eyes lit up again, and he said hurriedly: "Miss Slytherin, as long as I accept a few interviews, two hours each time... No! One hour, I can write a book!"

Gloria nodded. "Okay, leave me your address and I'll send you a reply after I've thought it over."

Wolpe quickly took out a pen and paper from Xueni's pocket, wrote down the address and handed it to her. "If you agree, I will contact the publisher when the time comes."

Gloria's dress had no pockets, so she just gave it to Draco.

"It doesn't matter. I have invested in many publishing houses. It's very easy to publish a book."

Slughorn opened his mouth in surprise. "Merlin's nose - I didn't know any of this. Gloria, you're too low-key."

"Investing in properties is a family tradition," Gloria said. "I can't possibly name every store my family has invested in."

Slughorn smiled and asked, "If I have a friend who wants to publish a book, can you help me?"

Gloria didn't answer directly, saying, "As long as it complies with the regulations, it's fine."

Walper looked at Draco at this time, "Mr. Malfoy, are you interested in writing a book about your family and your love affair with Slytherin?"

Of course, the focus is on his relationship with Gloria, and Walper feels that the public must want to know the love story of this perfect match.

Gloria simply gave the decision to Draco, "You make the decision. I'm going to go get some fresh air over there. It's a bit stuffy here."

Slughorn said immediately, "I'll deal with that later."

As Gloria turned around, she took the drink from the plate that passed by.

Then I saw Hermione eating dessert and chatting with Harry and Luna not far away.

She finished her drink in one gulp, put the cup down and walked over.

As soon as they walked to the side, Harry made room for her to stand opposite Hermione.

"Who did you invite?" Gloria asked Hermione.

"Seamus, he's very interested in the party." Hermione said and pointed behind her, where Seamus was chatting and laughing with a few girls.

"I've always wanted to say that you are the only one who doesn't have any harassment horseflies around you." Luna's ethereal voice sounded, and her slightly bulging eyes looked around Gloria.

"Is this a good thing?" she asked.

"Of course it's a good thing." Luna said, "It means you are sober and won't be confused by these bugs."

Harry smiled a little reluctantly and said, "Luna often says these funny things."

"It's quite interesting." Gloria looked at Hermione again, "I thought you wouldn't invite anyone here."

Hermione sighed, "I was thinking of inviting Ron. Every time Professor Slughorn only invited them to the party and pretended not to see him, he would get angry and quarrel with us."

Harry stood opposite and nodded. This was why he declined the invitation before.

Hermione continued, "But Ron has a girlfriend now. Even though I have a boyfriend, I'm worried that Brown will misunderstand if I invite him to a party like this."

She didn't want to be hated by that silly girl.

Harry said, "Ron is always making out with Brown, let's just have them date in the common room."

Just as he finished speaking, Professor Trelawney appeared with a glass of wine, and there was a faint smell of alcohol on him.

Hermione hated the professor and stepped aside immediately.

Gloria also walked away, but Luna was very interested in their conversation and stood there watching Professor Trelawney persuade Harry to continue her Divination class.

"Two or three years have passed, and I still don't want to face her." This was the first time Hermione hated a teacher so much.

Gloria has never taken a divination class, so it's hard for her to comment.

Fortunately, Professor Slughorn appeared not long after they started talking.

Draco also ended the conversation over there and stood beside Gloria and put his arm around her shoulders.

"I have decided not to publish our love story. Even if I want to publish a book, I have to write it myself."

"Okay." Gloria said, "When the time comes, any publishing house I invest in will publish this book."

"Professor Slughorn was looking this way just now," said Draco.

Hermione sneered as she bit her fork.

Slughorn had already talked about Harry's talent for potions, which he inherited from his mother Lily, and had also brought up the almost invisible Professor Snape.

Gloria saw the look of fear on Harry's face. Slughorn might not have known, but Snape and the other students knew exactly how strong Harry's potions were.

As expected, when Snape's calm eyes were fixed on him, Harry's whole body tensed up.

"Potions talent—" Draco sneered, "Potter has such a thing? His Potions grades are obviously average, even poor."

Hermione did not stand up to defend these words.

In the lively scene, Zabini appeared from nowhere and said to the two, "Would you like to meet the people next to you? They are all families with a neutral attitude."

He pointed to a few people watching them a few steps away.

Gloria said to Draco, "You go first, I have something else to talk about."

Harry couldn't stand the attention and came back with a random excuse.

Hermione said calmly: "I told you to use your true strength to brew the potion."

Gloria agreed with this, "Harry, that book of yours is good enough for sixth grade, but how are you going to maintain your grades in seventh grade?"

Harry lowered his head and replied: "I will study hard in the future, as long as it is not Professor Snape's class."

This semester, in every Defense Against the Dark Arts class, Harry was on guard against Snape the entire time, and was just short of openly confronting him.

Hermione sneered, "Compared to potion knowledge, you would rather focus on learning those spells."

"Have you learned those spells?" Gloria remembered that Hermione and the others said last time that Harry was obsessed with those spells.

Harry nodded, "Yeah."

She asked, "Do you mind showing it to me? I'm a little curious."

The owner of the book invented those spells when he was only sixteen or seventeen years old at most, very young, so we had to explore it.

Harry thought about it and agreed, as he also wanted to leave here.

Hermione said, "Just find an excuse to leave. I don't like this party. It's boring."

This idea coincided with Harry's. "Yes, I brought an invisibility cloak with me, so I can sneak out without attracting attention."

Gloria just wanted to see the spell, "Okay, I'll talk to Draco first."

Harry and Hermione were waiting for Gloria in the corner of the room, and she showed up soon after.

The three of them hid under the invisibility cloak to avoid being harassed by the students outside.

Gloria asked, "You always carry this with you?"

"Yes," said Harry, "Principal Dumbledore asked me to carry it with me at all times, even in class."

Not long after I walked out of the door, I saw some girls still there.

Gloria teased, "Harry, you are really popular this year. Even the girls in Slytherin are talking about you."

Hermione couldn't believe it, "Don't tell me there's a girl in Slytherin who likes him."

"Not really." Gloria replied firmly, "I'm just curious about how Harry will fight against the You-Know-Who."
