Chapter 288: Visiting the Burrow

Chapter 288: Visiting the Burrow

During Christmas, Gloria went to Malfoy Manor first, and the dinner at the Burrow was scheduled for two days later.

The dinner at Malfoy Manor had just ended when Grindelwald arrived.

After not seeing him for half a year, his aura became sharper and he looked younger than before.

The first thing Gloria said was, "When exactly will the curse be lifted from Albus?"

Gloria looked suspicious. "Didn't I tell you that it would be near the end of the school year?"

Seeing that Grindelwald was still gloomy, she said, "Come to think of it, I haven't seen Headmaster Dumbledore much this semester. When your operation started in France, the Ministry of Magic immediately invited the headmaster over."

"Albus won't be there forever. They won't be able to find me." Grindelwald said firmly, "Besides, I'm moving this year."

"You decide these for yourself." Gloria said, "I chose the end of the school year for my own reasons. Headmaster Dumbledore doesn't need to show up too often at school, but he can't be absent for too long, which would cause panic in the school. So I arranged for him to rest during the summer vacation, when he needs it most."

Grindelwald still looked unhappy, but his silence indicated that he acquiesced to this arrangement.

Gloria said, "What's the next country you're going to?"

"In the process of selection." He said in a deep voice: "Albus's condition is a little bad. I hope to lift the curse on him after the Hogwarts exam is over."

"Okay." Gloria agreed straightforwardly, and then asked, "Have you ever secretly seen Headmaster Dumbledore?"

Grindelwald remained silent.

Gloria asked, "Don't be afraid of being discovered. He is very familiar with you."

"I am very skilled in the use of Transfiguration." Grindelwald's eyes were particularly deep, "I won't be easily discovered."

He made a promise, and Gloria believed it of course.

Gloria was warmly received at the Burrow, and Fleur spent Christmas at the Burrow as Bill's fiancée.

After saying hello to everyone, this cozy house continued to be busy.

Gloria stood not far from the dining table, watching Mrs. Weasley walking back and forth. According to the clock on the wall, only Mr. Weasley was in danger.

"It's not that Father is actually in danger, it's that working at the Ministry is dangerous."

As if noticing her confusion, Ginny walked over to her and answered her question.

"This way..." Gloria nodded, "It is indeed dangerous."

At this time, both of them heard Harry's question, "When you were studying at Hogwarts, did you ever hear anyone nicknamed Prince?"

Harry sat between Sirius and Lupin, but he didn't ask if his father had such a nickname.

But Hogwarts is a magic school, how could wizards use Muggle terms?

"Harry wants to know more about whether the book has anything to do with his father. He misses his parents so much." Ginny said, "I heard from Hermione that he would be happy if Professor Slughorn praised him as being as good as his mother Lily."

So knowing that James used the spell in that book, he would hope that the owner of the book was his father.

"I understand." Gloria said with a little emotion: "I miss my parents sometimes, but at least I have the portraits they left behind. Harry's parents died too young to have the concept of leaving portraits."

Just like her father was less than 20 years old at the time, and it was her mother's suggestion that his portrait be left behind.

Harry's parents died in their twenties, just a few years after graduation, too young.

"No one knew that they would be betrayed under such circumstances..." Ginny gritted her teeth when she said this, "It's good that the damned rat died! He shamelessly lived a good life in my house for more than ten years!"

Ginny's brown eyes, unlike her brothers', showed indignation.

"Who's shameless?" Tonks asked as she stood beside them.

Gloria looked and saw that her hair was still pink.

Ginny lowered her voice and said, "We mentioned that Harry missed his parents."

Tonks immediately showed a sympathetic expression, "Yes... but there are many people who love him now."

At this time, Ginny's eyes fell on her and asked, "Tonks, why did your Patronus change? When you cast it for us, it was a hare, but later it turned into a four-legged creature."

Tonks' face flushed instantly, "I don't think the hare is majestic enough."

Ginny looked puzzled, "Can the Patronus be changed?"

"Maybe." Tonks said lightly.

Ginny didn't understand, but Gloria knew clearly that it wasn't that the hare wasn't majestic enough; it was clearly that her emotions fluctuated greatly and the Patronus changed accordingly.

She stared at Tonks, who felt guilty and said quickly, "I'll go help Mrs. Weasley."

Ginny found her reaction strange and asked, "What's wrong with her?"

"I don't know." Gloria didn't intend to reveal Tonks' true feelings. "I always feel like she is hiding something from me."

Ginny's mind was on the tense situation at hand, "Maybe the pressure is too great."

Gloria took the opportunity to change the subject, "How are you and your boyfriend?"

Ginny is very beautiful and popular. The little girl who once followed Harry crazily has become cool and confident.

Speaking of her boyfriend, Ginny said angrily, "Usually, Dean treats me like a fragile object, and I don't like that attitude."

She is not a fragile person at all and does not need to be treated like this.

Gloria raised her eyebrows. It seemed that this relationship would not last long, and the person Ginny really liked was still Harry. In this case, Dean would be dumped sooner or later.

At this point she had to continue to change the subject, "Hermione's boyfriend went to visit her home, I don't know how the situation is."

Suddenly there was a "swish" sound, attracting everyone's attention.

It turned out that Ron dragged the chair while walking without paying attention, and when he saw them looking at him, he quickly walked away.

Ginny didn't take this little episode to heart. "It should be fine. Krum seems cold, but he is very good to Hermione. They wrote a lot of letters this semester, and Hermione went to the Owl Shed almost every week."

She once accompanied Hermione to mail letters.

Ginny continued, "I'll ask about it as soon as I get back to school. It must be very interesting to see how wizards and Muggles get along."

With a snap, Fred and George appeared beside them.

Fred supported the dining table with one hand and said, "You are all in love, and only Harry is still single."

Everyone in the kitchen heard this, and Harry lowered his head.

Ginny's tone was no longer as excited as before, and she said calmly, "Don't worry, there are many girls in the school who like Harry. We all hope that Slughorn can invite us to the party he is organizing."

Sirius immediately patted Harry on the shoulder and said, "I have to say, you are much better than your father in this respect."

Lupin smiled softly, "He's like your godfather in that respect. A lot of girls would pay attention to him back then."

Sirius leaned back in his chair, his body tilted back so that only the two legs of the chair were touching the ground. "But unfortunately, my heart only desires adventure and freedom."

Seeing the actions Sirius often did during his school days, Lupin's eyes showed a hint of nostalgia.
