Chapter 320 Staying for One Night

Chapter 320 Staying for One Night

Gloria held Draco's hand tightly. Even without prior arrangements, he knew what to say to minimize the suspicion on Gloria.

"You did a great job." Sirius sat down next to her. "Next time something dangerous happens, notify us first."

"No wonder..." Harry muttered, "We were in the cemetery that night. He was the only one who didn't pull out his wand from beginning to end. He stood by and watched quietly until we used the Champions Cup Portkey to leave, and he didn't do anything."

With Harry's 'testimony' as evidence, Gloria and Draco's actions became more real.

"I remember that, too." Ron said quickly, "In the Department of Mysteries, he had the chance to hit me, but he didn't. It turned out that the person he wanted to help was Leah."

After hearing what Ron said, Molly covered her chest in fear.

"It seems that there are spies among the Death Eaters," Fred said optimistically.

George said, "The You-Know-Who would never guess that."

In their opinion, Gloria has always been on the side of justice, and the information that De Vries has found out can also help them.

"Unfortunately, Riddle knew that he was not truly loyal to him and did not trust him that much," Gloria said calmly, breaking their fantasy. "That is why he did not specify a specific time for the attack on the Ministry of Magic and only notified me at the last minute."

"That's good enough." Sirius understood how difficult it was to be a spy at this level.

"But the Ministry of Magic is in this state. Even if it won't be controlled by You-Know-Who, it might be easy for them to plant spies." Tonks put her hand on her lower abdomen.

"So the Ministry of Magic must nominate someone who is powerful enough to take office." Gloria lowered her eyes and said, "Scrimgeour will not be able to serve as Minister again. Bones, who was originally supposed to take over the position, also met with an accident."

Harry and the others were a little confused, after all, they didn't often pay attention to the political affairs of the Ministry of Magic.

But Draco understood, it was their people who had the chance to become minister!

"That's for the Ministry of Magic to worry about." Sirius had given up hope on the Ministry of Magic. "Under these circumstances... the Burrow may no longer be habitable."

"Why?" the Weasley siblings exclaimed.

Lupin knew more about this than anyone else. "The Ministry of Magic is about to undergo a major personnel change. Who knows who among them is in the You-Know-Who camp? If you can help us check where Harry might be hiding..."

Needless to say, everyone knows the serious consequences.

"We can't even go to Leah's emergency room. Snape has been there." Sirius's eyes were filled with annoyance. "We have to find a new safe house as soon as possible."

The atmosphere in the room became gloomy again.

"Isn't there a curse protection?" Harry was impressed by this.

Sirius said: "Snape also knows this, but the position has been exposed. As long as they are willing, it is only a matter of time before they break through the defense."

Hogwarts is not sure whether it can open smoothly, so the location of the new safe house is very important.

"Let's go to the Black mansion," Gloria said. "It's protected by a Fidelius Charm. I'll let you stay there for a month. But Kreacher will be guarding there, so you have to be patient."

Everyone knew very well what Kreacher's attitude towards them was.

Sirius's handsome face wrinkled, "I don't want to see him."

Compared to life safety, being scolded and treated sarcastic for a month is nothing.

"It's getting late. I'll take you back to the manor." Sirius stood up and planned to take them back personally.

Gloria pulled Draco who was about to get up and said, "It's okay. For safety reasons, we will rest here for one night and go to the old house together tomorrow."

Draco's eyes immediately swept around the house. He really hated this place, but realized that Gloria was probably worried that the people who were staying at the manor would be discovered.

Ron held his breath. It was okay for Leah to rest here, but that Malfoy...

"Oh - if you don't mind, I'll arrange a room for rest." Molly certainly knew Draco's temper.

It looks like his sons will have to squeeze in tonight.

"Thank you." Draco thought about it for a long time before saying this.

Ron was so surprised that his mouth opened wide.

While everyone was busy, Gloria and Draco stood in the corner of the house.

"I'm sorry, I have to eliminate any possibility of being discovered." She apologized sincerely, "I'll ask the elf to send a small tent later, and you can set it up in the room."

"No need to apologize, just take a rest for a night. I'm not that squeamish." Draco hugged her, "It's just that Adonis will probably be angry. We agreed to watch the stars together tonight."

·

Molly's arrangement was perfect, letting Draco and Harry stay in one room, and Gloria, Ginny and Hermione in another.

There was no other way. Given the crowded housing situation at the Burrow, it was impossible to let Draco sleep in a room alone. After much thought, it was decided to let Harry stay with him.

Neither of them could sleep in the darkness.

Harry closed his eyes and warned himself to be patient.

Draco folded his arms even when he was lying down, in a fully defensive posture.

After an unknown amount of time, Harry couldn't help but ask, "Draco, even if I didn't want to be friends with you at the time, was it really necessary to target us to that extent?"

"Don't get me wrong, I just simply hate you."

"Your pure-blood noble ideals are even more annoying."

"No better than Weasley laughing at my name." Draco choked: "He is not only stupid, but also impolite."

Harry said nothing, searching his memory for the scene.

Ron did laugh when Draco said his name.

"Okay, Ron was wrong about that, but you also did a lot of annoying things, so it's fair."

"Heh--" Draco sneered, too lazy to pay attention to him.

Harry understood that even if they took a stand, the previous estrangement was not so easy to eliminate.

After a fairly uneventful night, Draco got up early and simply stayed at the door of the Burrow.

The first thing Gloria did when she got up was to look for him. She saw him sitting at the door, staring at the shed.

I heard that Mr. Weasley collected a lot of Muggle things and piled them there.

This information was all told to her by Ginny last night.

"Did you rest well? Let's go back to the manor and take some more sleep today." Gloria hugged his waist and touched his firm abdominal muscles with evil intentions.

Draco quickly grabbed her hand and said in a hoarse voice, "It's okay. We have to find Adonis first when we get back."

He was just about to turn around and kiss his girlfriend when a stone hit their feet.

The garden gnome laughed at the two and went back into his hole.

"Time to clean up the goblins." Fred's voice suddenly appeared.

George leaned against the door with a smirk on his face, "Yeah, I disturbed the sweet time of the young couple."

Draco swore that the first time he saw a goblin, it was far more disgusting than what he had seen in the books.

The Weasley siblings, as well as Harry, grabbed the goblins and threw them far away without hesitation.

Gloria remembered that this was a regular activity at the Weasley household.

Sirius, who arrived early in the morning, saw the situation and immediately joined the team to clean up the goblins.

Listening to the laughter, Draco hugged Gloria from behind and watched the joyful scene quietly.

In the future, his and Lori's home will surely be so happy.

But I would never do such a thing as throwing goblins!
