However, none of them wanted to drink. Shang Xue and Ni Yuantang slowly sat down across from Mo Yu, their movements heavy and slow.

Ni Jiamu sat down next to Mo Yu. Mo Yu subconsciously looked up at her parents opposite her, then quietly moved to the side.

For a moment, the living room was eerily quiet, with only the ticking of the wall clock. The air seemed to freeze, making it difficult to breathe.
